These photography- and printing-related advertisements offer an interesting glimpse into the past. The late 19th century was a time when photographic methods were becoming more accessible to the everyday consumer. With the advent of dry plate technology in 1871, both amateur and professional photographers alike were offered a much more convenient and economical approach to capturing images, thus allowing many studios to expand operations and increase output.
